About Kristy Howard Writes
Hi, I’m Kristy!
I’m a Christian wife, writer, and SAHM-turned-working mom who believes there’s grace for the in-between spaces of everyday life.
And there are always in-between spaces, aren’t there? Because most of us are carrying more than one thing at a time.
That’s why you’ll find a little bit of everything here: faith, motherhood, work, wellness, and the everyday stuff of being a woman.
If you’re new around here, check out my Welcome! Start Here page to get familiar with this space.
A Little About Me
I’ve been married to Jeremy, my handsome pastor-turned-chaplain, for 24 years. We’re the blessed parents of five kids, who now span teenagers to young adulthood—and super proud grandparents of one baby girl.
After spending nearly two decades primarily as a stay-at-home and homeschooling mom, I’m learning a new rhythm as a working mom—and discovering that every season brings its own mix of beauty, stretching, humor, questions, and change.
I don’t have a formula for doing womanhood well.
But I do believe in paying attention to our lives, sharing what helps, telling the truth about what’s hard, enjoying what’s good, and giving ourselves plenty of grace along the way.
Consider this a place to pull up a chair.
Come for an honest conversation. Take what’s useful. Stay for the things that resonate. And hopefully leave with a little more encouragement, inspiration, or grace for whatever you’re carrying today.
I send a weekly Weekend Reads email—sharing what I’m reading, loving, and learning, along with reflections for the in-between seasons of life.
