About Kristy Howard Writes
Hey! I’m Kristy:
wife & mom; writer, chaplain, & mentor to women in ministry.
I’m a lifelong evangelical from a long line of ministers, and my journey through anxiety, depression, and healing from legalism has shaped both my calling and my compassion.
For the past two decades, I’ve served in vocational ministry alongside my husband Jeremy—while homeschooling our five kids and building a writing life from the comfort (and chaos) of our 1920s farmhouse in Fort Worth, Texas.
I’ve had the privilege of working with Christianity Today, Hudson Bible, (in)courage, and a growing number of faith-driven clients. In this space, I write about mindful, biblical self-care for women in ministry.
✨ My mission is simple: to help women in ministry trade burnout for restoration and self-care.
If you long for a place that’s free of guilt, expectations, and performance, you’ll feel right at home here.
