This deeply resonated with me. Having experienced a difficult relationship with my own father, I know how easy it can be for those wounds to affect the way we relate to our heavenly Father, even when we know in our minds that He is completely different. Over the years, God has been teaching me more about His true character, that He is loving, patient, faithful, and always present. I especially loved your invitation to ask God to "show me who You really are." The more we see Him for who He truly is, the more we begin to understand who we are as His beloved daughters. Thank you for this beautiful reminder that His love is not something we earn through striving, but something we are invited to rest in.
